They can enter their time records as they work, even down to the specific task they are working on. Or they can enter records for the groups of hours they worked in between their breaks throughout the day. For very simple situations like contractors, the contractor can enter one record with the number of hours they worked that day.

Since DKTime can record time records down to the minute, employees can feel good about getting recognition for all the time that they put in, rather than working extra time for no benefit at all. The system can be configured to maintain long-term time banks to handle those situations where employees are given time-in-lieu rather than overtime pay. Other time banks for health time, vacation time or anything else can be configured and the system will automatically accrue these hours.

From Management's perspective, DKTime gives detailed reporting on a project or person basis. Various filters can be adjusted to ensure only the information required is reported. Hour summaries are instantaneous providing everyone's records are kept up-to-date. Billing of clients is 100% accurate and hours are not rough guesses of people's efforts.
